Now on start at the No 1 Crowdfunding Platform

Skyflyer Development has planned already a Crowdfunding Campaign

Skyflyer Development UG carries out its operational aeronautic business in Wegberg-Wildenrath, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The Company

Skyflyer Development UG developes the Skyflyer VTOL (vertical take-off and landing vehicle). This universally unique aircraft can be used in various of recreational sports and passenger transportation applications. It is based on the use of the Skyflyer in a controlled airspace (electronically and/or physically) and is protected by several patent applications and trademarks.

The Prototype

The Skyflyer is a VTOL (vertical take-off and landing vehicle). It is 5,00 m long, and 5,00 m wide; its overall weight is about 600 kg. Four horizontal propellers are individually driven redundantly by established, often used special engines. The Skyflyer has a horizontal speed of 0 to 50km/h and a rate of ascend of 1m/sec. Its general flight characteristics are similar to that of helicopters, while its steering capability is even more precise.

The Planning

A test and demonstration plant has been planned at Wegberg-Wildenrath and will start operations tentatively in 2020. It will then be possible to test flight characteristics of several Skyflyers within the system, to simulate and control flight plant concepts, and to optimise the system software of the Skyflyer and other equipment.

There is no sport equal to that which aviators enjoy while being carried through the air on great white wings.
